For me, it really isn’t much work to call a handyman. My parents managed their own properties for decades and I learned from them to operate more efficiently. Again, you have to factor all maintenance costs. The pass-through deduction does have limits, but anything below those limits can be deducted. Having primary and umbrella insurance is critical.
