I totally disagree with this article. Assigning a contract is a great way for a rehabber or developer to gain extra income while waiting on the larger projects and payouts to be completed. It requires virtually no money down which allows for newer investors or those strapped for cash to gain income. With any real estate transaction your reputation is on the line, so you better prequalify anyone you do business with, especially in this scenario.
