This is just a distraction from your actual job: find a great deal. The address that is stated on the contract should be the exact address of the property in question. I would ask an agent about their background and if they’re an investor or if they work with investors. You want to work with an investor-friendly agent who knows what investors look for and the agent should be comfortable submitting low offers and negotiating on multiple properties at once. Also, see who is listing investment properties in your neighborhood and call them and feel them out on an initial phone call. I would pitch yourself as an investor and give them some information on your background, your goals and what’s in it for them.
