Then I remembered that I’m supposed to use the 30 days (or 14 days if that’s what you do) for an “inspection period” which I use to get my numbers right, find a buyer and if all of that doesn’t work out I can walk away by using the inspection clause as an out. However, how does that work when your buyers want to do their due diligence, which they should? Can you look at the property and still ask for an inspection period? Is it okay to be straightforward with them and tell them this inspection period is to allow potential buyers or “partners” to come view the home as well?
