There is usually no intention of messing up the seller, they have every intention of seeing the sale through via an investor flipper. Now, I believe assigners should be as up front with the seller as possible and tell them that there may be a slight chance the sale wont go thru and in that case, reward the seller with keeping the earnest money or a little more..But trashing the whole method of assigning because you had a bad experience isnt an objective opinion
