In some ways, assigning a contract wasn’t all that different from acting as a realtor, because I would be wearing a lot of the same hats and doing some of the same things a realtor would do for their client. The difference was – I had a signed purchase agreement between myself and the seller, which gave me an equitable interest in the property.
